Registering and baby stuff

I've decided that there really should be a crash course in what baby products a soon to be new mother needs to have. Websites like Babys R Us are just too much for the new eye. There are soooooo many things to look at and choose and I really have no idea what I need or will need, besides the basics... If anyone has any advice on "must haves" or essentials I'd be so happy to listen.

  1. Must haves:
~ "Bebe Pod" (comes with tray and toy) We take it everywhere, literally. Can use it as a portable high chair when traveling, or just a place for baby to sit and play while you do chores or cook, etc. LOVE it.

~ "Moby Wrap" a fabric wrap that can hold the baby directly to your body with COMPLETE comfort. It's great for bonding with your baby in those early weeks too.

~ "Boppy Pillow" was great in the beginning for nursing. Then used it for getting Kensie to practice tummy time. I even used it for myself at times!

~ "Chicco Stroller" is TALL friendly and pushes super easy. Plus it's very affordable. I had a hard time finding a stroller that I didn't kick the back of the wheel with every step. But, this one is GREAT for those of us who need the long stride. :) The handle has three different height settings!

Hope that helps! Happy registering...it CAN be overwhelming, but SO fun!

  2. Ditto to the Boppy. I've loved it with Lucas. But you are so right, there are all sorts of gadgets and its so hard to know if they're going to be useful. If you want to go shopping sometime give me a call :)

  3. A pack n play! I've used mine so much over the last couple of weeks. She can sleep in it in the living room and I can still see her!
